Zambian school receives Chinese firm donation of education materials

Chinese firm Avic International Project Engineering Company has donated teaching and learning materials to a school in the mining district in Zambia, at a total cost of over 110,000 Kwacha (about 8,500 U.S. dollars).

Han Fuxin, Avic Copperbelt regional manager said Avic international has been providing technical and financial assistance to various institutions in Chingola in the Copperbelt province.

He was speaking during the handover of teaching and learning materials at Chingola Adult Center learning institution.

Han said education is one of the important sectors for the socio-economic development of a country and that Avic international will continue assisting the education sector in Zambia.

Acting district commissioner Maxmillan Makasa said the teaching and learning materials will go a long way in the provision of education in Chingola.

He said a lot of works have been done by Avic in road rehabilitation in the mining district. Enditem
