Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa on Saturday made a passionate plea to members of the Southern African Development Community to continuously fight for the removal of an economic embargo slapped on his country by the United States of America and the European Union.
“Zimbabwe will continue to rely on your support for the removal of the illegal economic embargo on our country. I appeal to you my brothers to stand in solidarity with us as we will also continue supporting you in developing a prosperous region,” Mnangagwa said. Mnangagwa added that his country cherishes the peace and tranquility in the region. Mnangagwa said so when attending the swearing in ceremony of Namibian President Hage Geingob in Windhoek.
