The? grassroot supporters of the ruling National? Democratic? Congress? (NDC) in Ledzokuku? in the? Greater? Accra? Region? have? petitioned President? Dramani Mahama to consider appointing one Mr.? Seth Badu Taiwah, who is the incumbent Constituency Chairman for the Krowor Constituency as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the area.
According to them apart from? Seth Badu Taiwah?s high educational? qualification? as a post? graduate? holder? in Human? Resource Management, he? has over? the? years? demonstrated? his? love? for? the? NDC party,? adding? 2007 -2008? he was the Constituency? Vice Chairman and also the Campaign? Chairman? and? risen from that position to the Chairmanship position from? 2011.
Their concerns were raised in a latter issued? by? the? Chairman? of? the? group? Mr. Emmanuel? Annang? Tetteh to the? office? of the President.
In the said letter, they averred that? their petition was as result of appeals? from? the over 60,000 voters? within? the? constituency? who? voted? massively? for the party? especially? for His? Excellency? the President? John? Dramani? Mahama? during? the? December? 2012 general? elections.
According to them? their appeals? are in regard? to an acceptable? personality? to be? nominated? by the? President? and endorsed? by? the? Municipal Assembly? through? voting? as? the Municipal? Chief? Executive? for Ledzekuku ? Krowor? Municipal? Assembly? (Lekma).
They? pointed?? out? that? they have exhaustive? search? in collaboration? with? the people? of? Krowor? Constituency? as to the personality who emerged? tall? among? other? eligible? personalities. This person they said is Mr.? Seth Badu Tawiah.?
According to them, apart from his political stewardship Mr. Seth is a true man of the people.
They said? a? new day? has come? for the baton? of leadership? in the? Municipality? to? change? hands? from? Teshie? to Nungua? in a? spirit? of co-operation and? peaceful co-existence? as? neighbours? and? all? the supporters? of the? NDC? at the?? grass root? level? in the Ledzekuku? Constituency? have? decided? firmly? to throw? their massive? support? behind? the nomination? and? choice? of Mr. Seth? Badu? Tawiah? as? the? Municipal? Chief?? Executive.
