Uganda Airtel Floats 20 Percent of Shares Worth US$200M

Mobile telecom operator Airtel Uganda has floated 20% of its shares on the country’s Securities Exchange.

The company is offering 8 billion shares worth over $200 million. The Initial Public Offering will see Airtel become the second telecom operator to list on the Ugandan bourse.
