2014 World Cup Hearing Commence On August 13


wpid-Ghana-vs-Germany-brazil2014-34.jpgThe Office of the Commission of Inquiry, has listed organizations scheduled to appear before it throughout sittings.

The Commission, set to investigate the participation of the Black Stars in the 2014 Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) World Cup in Brasil, will commence hearing on Wednesday, August 13, with the Bank of Ghana, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs appearing first.

A statement from the Office of the Commission of Inquiry, said the management and technical team of the Black Stars, the playing body (if necessary) as and when appropriate will appear before it in the course of its work.

It added that, all corporate sponsors of the Brazil 2014 Wold Cup, service providers such as Travel and Tours, caterers, ambassadors, artists and any other person the commission might need to facilitate it work will be invited.

According to the statement, any person or body with information can also pass through the secretariat of the Commission at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Meanwhile, the Commission has appointed Thomas Boakye-Agyemang as its Public/Media Officer.
