Grassroot? supporters? of the? National? Democratic? Congress? (NDC)? in the Greater?? Accra?? Region?? have appealed? to? members? of the party to? vote?? for Mr. Ade Coker again, as the Regional? Chairman? in the upcoming? Regional? election.
Speaking?? to?? The Moment, they averred that the party has achieved a lot under his leadership and hence must be considered for another term.
According to them it was through Mr. Ade Coker?s hard?? works that the NDC was able to overcome the opposition NPP Greater Accra?? Regional?? Chairman culminating in the overwhelming victory of the NDC in the Region during the last election.
They also extol Mr. Ade Coker?s personality and his relation with his supporters of the party.
Many of the supporters consider him the beat Chairman since he is always able defeat NPP communicators on any platform and also works very hard to bring unity into the party.
They?? also appealed to??? all?? the?? NDC members in Greater Accra not to allow?? some people to influence them against voting for Mr. Ade Coker as the Regional?? Chairman.
?He? is??? the? man? of the? people? and? the party,? they said, believing that if it weren?t Mr. Ade Coker?s hard works, the President? wouldn?t? have? deliver? on his? Better? Ghana? Agenda? Philosophy for the people.
Mr. Ade Coker has recently come under some pressure with people accusing him of being ?selfish.? Interestingly, his crime was the comments he passed to the effect that President Mahama will go unopposed when the party gets ready to contest the 2016 polls.
This did not go down well with some people and hence are working behind the clock to see him fall as the Regional party Chairman.
But, the party faithfuls think otherwise. According to him, there is no Chairman within the party that has done so well as Mr. Ade Cocker.
They also intimated that Ade Coker has been the forte behind the youth in the Region as he has supported large number of them without consideration to their political affiliations.
They consider him to be ?a-die-hard? NDC man who can steer the affairs of the party in the Region. They therefore dispel the claims that he is ?selfish? and promised to campaign until he wins the election.
