Angola’s national plan for education development for the year 2015-2025 aimed to train a good man able to live in harmony with others and prepared for adversity in life, State secretary of Education Ana Paula Ines said on Thursday. 
Paula Ines was speaking at the end of the an ordinary session of the commission on social policy of the council of ministers chaired by Vice President Manuel Vicente, the official news agency Angop reported.
The official stressed the education plan’s main goal was the qualification of man which was now a major concern of Angolan President Jose Eduardo dos Santos, including the promotion of moral values, cultural, social and economic lives in the Angolan man.
She said that the drafting of the strategy, dubbed as “Education Angola 2015-2025” envisaged the need of the country’s development as well as the experiences of other states to achieve the equality, quality and better development of education in the African country.
The plan also integrated six fundamental goals as parts of World Education for All (EPT) held in partnership with UNESCO to protect and ensure free and quality education for early childhood of all children, Paula Ines said.
Angola has a young population with over 60 percent of its 23 million population under the age of 25. Enditem
