In a post-match conference, keeper Coundoul said, ?I did not commit any foul. I had grabbed 100% of the ball and there was no contact with the player, so I was surprised the referee whistled for a penalty.

?It was a clear dive and he should have been punished for that, but the referee rather punished us.

?I approached the referee and told him it was a dive and the only thing he told me was next time?. Coundal stated.

Coundal, 32, who plays for Ethnikos Achna in Cyprus said the referee was not fair in his judgement but was relieved his team came back to win the game.

The inspirational goalkeeper who doubles as the captain said, his team is capable of beating any side in the competition, “because we qualified from a very strong group.

?We have a very good team capable of standing any opposition. We are capable of winning the competition because we can beat any side.

?We shall start the next game on strong just as we did against Ghana in the second half,?he added.

Senegal came from a goal down to beat Ghana 2-1 in the first game of Group C of the Africa Cup of Nations at the Estadio De Mongomo on Monday in Equatorial Guinea.
