Ghana hoped to overturn an earlier ruling to ban the Black Starlets from featuring at the biannual gathering fixed for Niger next year.
The Starlets were disqualified after midfielder, Isaac Twum was adjudged to have failed an MRI test having featured in the qualifier against Cameroon, a match the former won 2-1 in Yaounde.
CAF was compelled to organize another test on seven selected Ghana players following the appeal by the Cameroonians who lost 3-6 over two legs of the ultimate qualifier.
The continental body narrowed the investigations down to two players who were made to undergo further test.
Twum, according to the ruling failed the second test, necessitating the ban for the next two years.
