The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on Thursday disclosed plans to give out about N25 billion to youths in the country.

The fund according to CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele is expected to address youth unemployment and create jobs.

Each participant will have access to N3 million.

The programme was initiated by the Federal Government, involving the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

“We are starting with N25billion to support the youths in entrepreneurship programme. They will be trained and after the training, they can get as much as N3 million to start a business,” the CBN governor said.
