While the dust over the killings of innocent people in parts of Southern Kaduna is yet to settle, unknown but deadly gunmen on?Friday?again stormed Fadan Karshi town in Sanga Local Government Area of the state and killed five people as well as injured one person.
?Fadan Karshi was part of the seven communities in Sanga local government that were attacked by gunmen last month during which about 200 persons were killed.
A resident of the town Musa Na?Allah told Per Second News on telephone that the gunmen invaded the community in a commando style, moving from house to house and shooting sporadically during which their bullets killed five people.
He said as a result of the development, several residents of the area are presently displaced thereby populating the number of those that ran away from their homes during previous attacks.
He said: ?Just few days ago, some of them returned only for this attack to take place again. The gunmen came with sophisticated weapons, shooting and chanting war song. The other person that was injured is now receiving treatment at the hospital.?
Chairman of the Local government Emmanuel Adamu Dan-Zaria, while confirming the incident, said he and other leaders of the area as well as residents are in a confused state just as he described the?Friday?attack as most unfortunate and unwarranted.
Dan-Zaria said: ?We don?t know what is happening in our area. Not up to a month that about 200 people were killed with over 27,000 others displaced. Five people have now been killed this morning with a lot of people displaced again.?
