The Electricity Company of Ghana will cut power for eight hours Sunday in parts of the Accra East region to carry out emergency repairs on a network fault.
ECG said in a public notice issued Saturday that the outage will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will affect parts of Trassaco, including Saso, Sidalco, Signature Apartments and Cassa Trassaco, along with Action Chapel, the Bank of Ghana warehouse, Tip Toe Lane, Odo Rice, and parts of Caprice and surrounding communities.
The utility said the interruption is needed to allow engineers to complete emergency maintenance and improve the reliability of electricity supply in the affected areas, and apologised to customers for the inconvenience.
