Medeama defender Evans Quao
Asante Kotoko is close to sealing a deal with Medeama for defender Evans Quao after agreeing personal terms with the player.
The Porcupine Warriors lost their title to regional rivals Hearts of Oak and are bent on reclaiming their trophy next season.
Kotoko have already secured the signature of goalkeeper Ernest Sowah after snatching him from the Hearts of Oak.
They are now close to sealing the transfer of defender Evans Quao who will act as a replacement for Abeiku Ainooson if he does move to Sudanese side Al Hilal.
The transfer of Quao became imminent after the Tarkwa based club signed Bechem Utd centre back, Patrick Opoku last Monday.
