ENUGU citizens, under the aegis of Enugu Advancement Forum, EAF, has expressed dismay over what it described as poor representation of the State in? the Federal Civil Service, saying the state is deliberately being denied the chance to fulfill its statutory quota in the service.
President of the Forum, Johnson Ude at briefing, claimed that the trend had continued despite several representations to the relevant authorities.
He explained that the state?s employment quota in the Federal Service had inexplicably remained unfilled and in some cases taken up by people from other states.
He lamented that the group?s efforts at finding the reason behind the situation from the Federal Civil Service Commission, especially the office of the Federal Commissioner in charge of Enugu, Anambra and Ebonyi States, had met with little success.
