The 2013 budget and economic policy of the President John Mahama administration will be read to Parliament on Tuesday March 5. This would be the first time the Mahama administration would be presenting a major economic policy of the state.
It would also be the first time the current finance minister Seth Terkper would be reading the country?s budget to the state since he assumed office in this year as the Minister for Finance. Deputy Majority Leader of Parliament, Alfred Agbesi stated this in Parliament on Friday when he read the business statement of the House for next week.

During his delivery of the State of the Nation address to Parliament last week, President John Mahama assured that there are much goodies in the budget statement to continue building a better Ghana for all.
