Pillars attack on Sunday against Olympique de Bangui in the CAF Champions League will be led by Nafiu Ibrahim who scored a brace in Kano.
A fortnight ago, substitute Ibrahim struck twice to give the Nigerian champions a 5-1 home win in a preliminary round, first leg match.
He has thus been rewarded with an extended run in the Pillars first team along with the nippy Nasiru Ali and the team?s main attacking weapon Gambo Mohammed, who failed to find the back of the net of the central African champions in the first clash.
Former Heartland striker Kabiru Umar and fit-again Mannir Ubale have therefore been consigned to the bench.
Mustapha Musa will play in defensive midfield after Nigeria international Gabriel Reuben did not make the trip to Bangui as he only resumed training with the team last week on arrival from the AFCON in South Africa.
The Pillars central defence will be manned by two players who have been capped by Nigeria at full international level, Papa Idris and Umar Zango.
The overall winners of this clash will battle the winners of the match between CAF Confederation Cup holders AC Leopards and CF Mounana from Gabon.
Leopards take a 2-0 advantage to Gabon.
The kick-off for Sunday?s match in Bangui is 3pm Nigerian time.
