A man jumped to his death on Monday after he killed three people and injured six others following a knife attack at a primary school in central China’s Hubei province.
The man, identified only by the surname Chen, entered the Dongfang Primary School in Hubei’s Yunxi county mid-morning and stabbed eight children and a teacher before jumping from a building at the school, reports said.
Chen was a parent of a child at the school, the semi-official China News Service said without elaborating.
Three of his victims died in hospital and the other six remained under emergency treatment, the local government said.
