2012 was a year when many rumours went out about the death of very important personalities, entertainment stars and other known people, and one of such was the rumour of the death of Nollywood Veteran ?Pete Edochie?
Pete Edochie has been playing different roles in stage presentations and movies since 1967,and is known for his proverbial statements and has appeared in roles like Okonkwo in an NTA adaptation of the movie ?Things Fall Apart?; Onwa, Felony, Power Play, etc.
The rumour that went out originated from a man called ?Hyacinth Peters? on Facebook, that Pete Edochie had fallen from a tower in Austria where he was shooting a movie in December, but an interview granted by Pete Edochie in his home on January 4, 2012 has debunked the claims.
