Labour Party Gubernatorial Candidate in Oyo state Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala has called on Nigerians to be more patriotic and committed to God and progress of Nigeria in 2015.
Otunba Akala who spoke through his spokesperson in a press statement signed by Barr Abraham Ojo said ,” 2015 is a year of decision and we can only take a good decision that will be favourable with a sincere and good spirit”
” The task of governance should not be left in the hand of those in government alone all of us have a duty and responsibility to work for the betterment of this nation and the primary and the most important one is patriotism, we should show concern about issues affecting our country and pray for our dear Nation”.
“Our Prayers matters a lot , it will do a lot in the life of our nation, prayer changes things it bring progress and peace, we should continue to prayer for our leaders and traditional rulers and peaceful transition in 2015”.
He said further that ” 2015 is an election year, our focus should be on having a free and fair election without violence, politicians and community leaders should discourage any form of violence that may distabilize the peaceful coexistence of the people.
While assuring the people of Oyo state a better government in 2015, Otunba Akala urge the people of oyo state to corperare and support labour party during elections and the party is poised to bring transformational development that will positively affect the lives of all and sundry in the state.
” During our first tenure,people of the state don’t celebrate the yuletide in hardship and economic crisis being experience now due to non payment of staff salaries and arrears of workers and by the grace of God when we return to power will shall run government with human face, a government that will restore the pacesetter’s state back to the path of economic prosperity.
