Adegoke rues Eagles exclusion
June 2, 2012 by Olufemi Atoyebi

Shooting Stars highest goal scorer Mutiu Adegoke, who was called to the home-based Super Eagles team when Okey Emordi was the coach said he looked forward to a return to the national team after a move back to 3SC resurrected his career.
The former Enyimba and ASEC of Abidjan defender has scored five times since making the move halfway into the season, stressing his hope in coach Stephen Keshi’s believe in players from the Premier League.
He said, “I had a good time with the national team but I got injured and was left out. I am fully back now and I am sure that I deserve a place in the camp. I know I can make the team if given the chance.
“Keshi is good to us. He has given hope to career of players in the Nigerian league and I will continue to impress so that I can earn a recall to the team.”
The Ibadan club will play Ocean Boys in a league match on Saturday (today) in Yenagoa and Adegoke sees a continuation of good run for 3SC. We have lost one out of the past five matches and picked a draw against Dolphins in Port Harcourt. I think we must build on that and pick a result on Saturday.”
