Mr Akwasi Addai, aka Odike
The Presidential candidate of the United Front Party (UFP), Mr Akwasi Addai, aka Odike cast his vote at the Nana Buabasa Area 1 polling station in the Manhyia South Constituency in Kumasi at 8.50am Friday.
Accompanied by his security detail, he expressed confidence that Ghanaians would buy into his campaign messages and vote massively for him to become the next President of Ghana.
Mr Addai who on Thursday evening allegedly went through an unpleasant experience at the hands of some people at the Kumasi Airport over suspicion that he was carrying fake ink from Accra to be used in the election, was beaming with smiles after casting his vote.
He told journalists that in the event of him failing to win the election, he would support the next government, provided it work with some of his ideas.
Mr Addai condemned the winner-takes-all practice in Ghanaian politics and said he would reverse it if he won the election.
