Dutch-born Ghanaian starlet Raymond Gyasi expects to jet off to a flying start to his professional career after signing a 3-year-contract with Eredivisie side AZ Alkmaar.
The attacker scored as many as 12 goals for the club?s reserves side and made 4 first team appearances providing 8 assists in total.
Gyasi, 18, was rewarded for his sterling performance last season with a three-year deal to become a first team regular at the AFAS Stadion.
He is keen to impress on his debut season with Gertjan Verbeek?s side.
?Last season was great for me and I believe if I work hard, I can transform that same form to the first team and help the club to excel,? he told Ghanasoccernet.com.
?I have to keep my focus and work as hard as I can and gain regular playing time to improve myself.?
Raymond is a junior brother of FC Twente?s Edwin Gyasi.
