— The Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it has been working to secure the release of 438 Ethiopian migrants jailed in Zambia and Zimbabwe prisons.

— The government of Ethiopia said it has brought under control the attempts made to expand violence in some parts of Oromia and Amhara Regional States.
