Asked if he has set sights on any striker to replace Black Stars goal monger Asamoah Gyan should the Shanghai SIPG striker lace down his boots, Mr. Grant said,”National team football is not like club football because with club football you can always go out to market and buy any player of your choice but the Black Stars can only be played by Ghanaians.”
Jordan Ayew had a turbulent start when he moved from Lorient to Aston Villa but the Ghanaian forward is gradually arriving home. He has scored three goals in his last five matches for the London side, but his team’s poor outing is submerging his wonderful performance.
According to the coach, he believes Ghana will find Asamoah Gyan’s replacement before the striker will retire from international football.
