Baba Rahman?s Move Away From Greuther Furth Will Be Expensive
Greuther Furth appear ready to sell of Ghana defender Baba Abdul Rahman but only for a huge price as his existing runs out in 2017.
The left-back joined the Cloverleaves at the beginning of the just ended season from second tier Ghanaian club Dreams FC after excelling on loan with Asante Kotoko.
The 18-year-old signed a five-year contract upon arrival at the Troll Arena.
Baba Rahman is now a sought after player in Europe following an impressive debut season in the Bundesliga.
He however fell short of keeping his side in the top flight as Furth were relegated at the end of the just ended season.
Interests in the yet-to-be-capped Ghana international still remain with Werder Bremen the latest link to emerge.
Rahman is however unlikely to leave cheap as interested clubs must buy out his contract with Furth which runs until 2017.
This ensures that the fee to be paid for the transfer of the Ghana left-back will be huge.
The player himself has revealed as many as nine clubs are interested in signing him but very few will perhaps meet the expected huge demands of the Cloverleaves for one of their best players.
