It is a race out there. What I meant is, we all live in a world filled with competition. Each of us want to better than others and reach to the stage of supreme bliss. To reach to this supreme happiness, we end up in a job that gives us a meaty pay, but with zero satisfaction.
True to the core, it is what we all do. Many of us are in a dreaded career where we would like to earn fast bucks and make sure that we are much better than our friends or known people in the creation of wealth. In going back of this fast earning income, we forget what we really enjoy in our lives. What is our passion? Where does this passion stand at the end of the day?
Lets us take a vivid example. While we were kids or in our young age, we must have the ambition of becoming a photographer, author, etc. But as we pass the high school and college, the urge to be successful puts out ambition or you can say this passion down the drain.
Just imagine being an author- researching on the web using any of the reliable Internet connections like Cox Internet and writing books. We could have the talent and end up writing frictional or non-frictional books. Having a lot of readerships is one thing, but it is the ability of driving our creativity juice on the paper; that makes us happy.
This passion is what gives meaning to our lives. For once just forget about what your aim is. Let us take in this way, instead of going back of success; make the success come to your footstep. Nowadays, there is always an urge in us to be successful and we end up scoring high marks in SATs and being the best student in the university. Is this what we really crave? No, it is not. Life has a meaning and giving this meaning a better definition is pursuing your passion.
So what if we are starting last in the race. You could be the tortoise, who at the end becomes first and defeats the rabbit. It is like the Aesopbles tales. Slow and steady wins the race. Initially, you would be like the tortoise, having a low-income, but take the life after some years. Your friends will be regretting in their later part of their lives for not pursuing their passion. This regret will naturally go with them in their grave. But you; you end up pursuing it and making it your career.
Once you pursue your passion, you put your heart and best of your efforts into it. That is what makes you to drive towards the success. In a sense, once you become good in something, it automatically will make you successful. Your passion is what makes you the best in the world.
There is no problem that you don’t have a magnificent house or a super speed sports car. You can still live your life without it. It is just that being simple is what makes your life more comfortable. As years pass by, when you become successful and recognized, this need to have a good house and sports cars will never be necessary. People will recognize you for your passion and what you are good at. There are never going to think of you as the person who has an expensive house or car. To give a better meaning to your life, it is always good to have a simple life with less expensive conveniences.
In short, just pursue a thing that you like. That’s very important.
