College Of Education Students Cry Over School Fees

0

First year (Level 100) students of
colleges of education cry over school fees due to the inability on the part of
the government to provide feedind government few months after
assuming office hinted to scrub off
the the teacher trainees allowance
which served as the main source of school fees to almost all the students in
the various colleges of education across the country with the
reason of increasing the intake of students into the colleges and went
ahead to mention of providing feeding grant as it is doing to the senior high
schools in the northern regions of the country. The goverment
succeded in increasing the intake but failed to provide the later (feeding
grant) which is now causing headche and heart beat to most of the students
as they think of how their fees
especially those in the northern part of
the country.
Students are expect to pay between
730 and 800 cedis for the next semester which begins from?3rd March, the
feeding fees which alone is 504 cedis of the fees is the most disgusting
and heart breaking of all. Meaning they would have been expecting to
pay less than 300 cedis should the government provide the feeding as it
promised. Most of the students are now praying their various colleges to
allow them feed themselves sinc
e they are now in tertiary status as
claimed by the government. they are again saying since the government is
not ready to provide the feeding
as said the colleges should let them
feed themselves as they think that will be easy to afford than paying 504
cedis. The are again saying the the feed which is not worth of the
amount in both quality and quanti
ty wise is the most annoying of all.
