They pleaded guilty to the crime and would re-appear on Monday, November 02.

Police Chief Inspector Felix Akowuah told the court that the incident happened on June 12 at about 23:00 hours.

The accused, armed with pump action gun and cutlasses, raided the Sawaba New site residence of the victim, Alhassan Hamidu, and forcibly seized the items and money.

This was after they scaled a six-foot wall built around the house to gain access.
The prosecution said one of them, Gado was arrested barely 24 hours after the robbery by neighbourhood watch committee at the Sawaba-Nima.

The digital camera and two mobile phones stolen from Hamidu were retrieved from him and handed over to the police.
The remaining two were later arrested at their hideout.
