Mr. Emmanuel Olla Williams, the Schools Sanitation Inspection Tour organizer and youth coordinator of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) has asked Ghanaians not to joke with the coronavirus as it is real and not a movie.

He urged people to practice hygiene by washing hands and face with soap often and use sanitizers to avoid contracting the disease.

Mr. Williams who is CEO of Dreamland Sports Plus and One-On-One Foundation which have been organizing the Senior High Schools Sanitation Inspection Tour sponsored by Unilever, producers of detergents like Vim cleaner, Rexona, Key, Brilliant and Omo soaps said the youth must help their parents and families to believe that the covid-19 has really taken many lives in USA, Europe and China in Asia.

He expressed that there is no cure as scientists, medical and health experts are now trying hard to find a solution.

He appealed to students to abide by President Nana Akufo Addo’s order to stay at home and avoid social gathering in order to stop the spread of the coronavirus.

He begged people to obey the health protocols as obedience is better than sacrifice, and lives are important.

He commended the front line workers, and hailed all companies and individuals who have contributed in supporting the vulnerable during the lock down period.

He also wished all sportsmen and women the best in their personal training schedules, and advised them not to lose hope and concentration as efforts are being made to organize a memorable Olympic Games in 2021.
