Sources told News Ghana that, a 160 acre land given to the school by the late Asantehene Nana Agyemang Prempeh Osei Kyeretwie, has been encroached by the public.

When News Ghana contacted the headmaster Dr. Agyapong, he could not sit back and watch the public to take over what belongs to the school, but would rather protect it.

These encroachers who wouldn’t allow any headmaster to fence the school, frowned upon the high court orders and went ahead to build their houses on the school land.

Dr. Agyapong had to go in to stop them from continuing the work, since there is a court injunction on the land. The encroachers rather went to report him to the Breman Police.

Hence, the Breman police invited both the headmaster and the encroachers over to the station to resolve the matter.

Upon their arrival at the station, both Breman and the Tafo divisional commander could not sit on the matter without the knowledge of the Asanti regional commander and thus, headed to the office of the regional commander, DCOP Kofi Boakye at the central police station.

According to Dr. Agyapong, the commander’s advise was that, since the case is already in the Kumasi high court, both parties should consult their lawyers so that the matter can be resolved.

Meanwhile, the board of the school are in consultations with their lawyer for the way forward.
