The 2012 Vice Presidential candidate of the new Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will deliver the 2012 Ferdinand o. Ayim Memorial Lectures on the topic “the State of the economy” on Wednesday, may 2, 2012.
According to Otchere-Darko, remains the Trustee of Gabby Ferdinand Ayim Foundation, Dr. Bawumia, like other renowned speakers before him, the rich tradition of this public lecture series, dedicated to the memory of Ferdinand Ayim, who died in the line of public service in 2006.
Dr. Bawumia, expert and detailed analysis of the current state of Ghana’s economy and will give insight in the economic difficulties will continue to confront us as a society. His topic will also want to underline the importance of a vibrant economy on the agenda creating wealth of a nation.
This event will bring together members of civil society, political party leaders, members of the diplomatic corps, business, academia and the general public.
The lecture takes place at the College of physicians and surgeons, Independence Avenue, Accra, at 6 pm.
