MACRON, DRAGHI TO SIGN COOPERATION TREATY

French President Emmanuel Macron will arrive in Italy for a two-day working visit.

During his trip, Macron is expected to sign the French-Italian Enhanced Cooperation Treaty with Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi, aimed at reshaping the balance of power in Europe.

PUTIN TO MEET WITH VUCIC IN SOCHI

Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in Russia’s Sochi.

The two leaders will discuss gas prices and a range of regional and global issues, including the tensions in the Balkans, trade and economic ties.

ASEM SUMMIT TO OPEN IN CAMBODIA

The 13th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM Summit) will open in Cambodia in online format.

This year’s summit marks the organization’s 25th anniversary and is dedicated to multilaterlaism, post-COVID economic recovery and connectivity.

President of the European Council Charles Michel, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansa and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell will take part in the event.

PACE STANDING COMMITTEE TO MEET IN ROME

The Standing Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will meet in Rome, marking the start of Italy’s six-month Presidency of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers.

The meeting’s agenda will include Italy’s program during its presidency, the fight against gender-based violence and the migrant crisis on the border with Belarus.

The participants are also expected to approve a report revising the Assembly’s Code of Conduct regarding sexual harassment.

The meeting will be livestreamed on the official PACE website.

SWITZERLAND TO LAUNCH FIRST CRYPTO STAMP

Swiss Post will issue 175,000 of the country’s first crypto postage stamps.

THANKSGIVING PARADE TO BE HELD IN NEW YORK

Traditional Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will be held in New York.

The event will be broadcast live on NBC from 14:00 GMT.
