Mrs Mahama said this when she addressed a grand Durbar organised in her honour last Monday at Prampram when she was on her campaign tour of the Ningo-Prampram and Kpone Kantamanso constituencies. She urged the electorate to vote massively for President Mahama and the NDC parliamentary candidates? Hon. E.T. Mensah and Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo respectively.

The campaign tour took the first lady and her entourage to Tsopoli, Mansotsonya, New Ningo, Prampram, Moborle, Ablekuma – Kpeve, and Kpone Kantamanso where she inaugrated Friends of Lordina Mahama club.

The First Lady called on parents to ensure that their children are not used by politicians to cause election violence, observing that if it does occur it will affect women and children most.

Mrs Mahama also urged all NDC sympathisers and party faithfuls to campaign vigorously in the finals days of the campaign to ensure a “one touch” victory.

She reminded the chiefs and people of Prampram that the former First Lady, Mrs Naadu Mills, is her mother and mentor and therefore she will support development efforts under the Better Ghana Agenda for the town. She further stated that President Mahama is committed to working for the progress of all Ghanaians.

At every community the First Lady and her convoy drove through, residents lined up the streets to catch a glimpse and to cheer her. She stopped at some communities to interact with and to distribute NDC paraphernalia to them.

The First lady’s entourage consisted of prominent party faithfuls: Mr E. T. Mensah, Minister of Water Resources, Works and Housing, Ms Sherry Ayitey, Minister of Environment, Science and Technology, Mr Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo, Greater Accra Regional Minister, Hajia Zeinab, Deputy National Women’s Organiser of the NDC, Mr Harry Zakour, Klottey Korle Constituency Chairman, Mrs Doreen Owusu Fianku, CEO of Kotoka International Airport and actresses Vivian Achor and Adjoa Pee.
