Ghana Football Association Executive Council Member, Fred ‘Achie’ Acheampong has confirmed he is stepping down as CEO of premier league side AshantiGold SC.
Fred Achie leaves the role after 2 years in charge of the Obuasi based club effective April 30, 2020.
After news of his resignation broke, Fred Acheampong took to Twitter to confirm he is leaving the club.

End of a golden road.
I have tendered in my resignation as C.E.O. of @AshantiGoldSC_ effective 30th April 2020.
I have grown and learnt immensely at the club but it’s time to move on for personal reasons.

Achie as he is popularly called is a member of the SWAG and AIPS.
