GCB Bank has presented prizes to winners from the second and third months of its Pa To Pa savings promotion, bringing the campaign past its halfway mark and into its final stretch ahead of a grand finale that will send five customers to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The combined award ceremony for months two and three was held at the Accra Mall food court on March 13, with winners drawn from across the country, reflecting the nationwide reach of the promotion since its December 2025 launch.

Executive Head of Retail Banking Sina Kamagate told attendees the bank intends to overdeliver on its promises and encouraged broader participation ahead of the penultimate draw in March and the final draw in April. He noted that the two remaining monthly rounds feed directly into the May grand finale.

The promotion’s mechanics remain straightforward. For every GH¢300 deposited and maintained for a month, a customer earns one point. At the end of each month, the bank ranks all participating customers by points accumulated, with the top ten receiving household and electronic prizes. Customers holding dormant accounts who reactivate them earn an automatic point before they begin depositing.

The grand finale introduces a two-track qualification system. The four highest-ranked customers by points will qualify automatically, while a fifth winner will be selected through a raffle supervised by the Caritas Group, meaning any customer who has deposited as little as GH¢300 throughout the campaign remains eligible for the trip regardless of their overall ranking.

All five grand prize winners will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the 2026 Global Football Festival in Canada and the United States, with GCB covering flights, accommodation, visa fees, match tickets, insurance and travel kits.

The National Lottery Authority (NLA), which by law regulates and supervises all consumer promotions involving chance, confirmed at the ceremony that the draw process was conducted fairly and that all winners were selected in full compliance with regulatory requirements.

The promotion closes on April 30, with the grand draw to follow in May as GCB Bank prepares to mark 73 years of operation.
