More than half of the Germans believe their country would be far better off leaving the euro.The poll conducted recently in a German News Paper (“Bild Am?Sonntag”) showed that over 51 per cent thought it was time to quickly revert to the Deutsche Mark. This was published as the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel and the Italian President, Mario Monti?affirmed their willingness to do everything to save the single currency, Euro.
