Ghanaian Germany youth international Gideon Jung is happy to remain at Bundesliga side Hamburg after being confirmed in the first team for the season.
Last month, he was linked to a loan move to FC Kaiserslautern in the Bundesliga II.
But Hamburg coach Bruno Labbadia has decided to hold onto the promising defender and promoted him to join the first team.

Jung will serve as backup for Johan Djourou, Emir Spahic and Cl?ber in central defence.
?I?d like to learn a lot from them and continue to gather important match practice at the U23,? he added.
Jung, who can play as a centre-back and in defensive midfield, has got limited first team opportunities at Hamburg.
The 20-year-old signed a three-year contract extension in February this year.
Jung joined Hamburg last season from German third-tier side Rot-Wei? Oberhausen and has impressed for the U23 and trained on a couple of times with the Hamburg first team squad.
