Ghanaian youngster Grejohn Kyei says his immediate focus is to establish himself at French club Reims.
The 20-year-old who has featured for France’s U21 side but still eligible to play for Ghana is beginning to see more action at his French Ligue 1 club.
Kyei’s scoring return as a striker is however not impressive with a tally of two goals in 11 league appearances so far this season.
And even though his talent has been spotted by several clubs and with the limelight on his international future, whether to play for Ghana or France, the youngster says his focus now is to improve his form in order to establish himself at his French club.
“My focus right now is only on club football as I continue to work on establishing myself at Reims,” he said.
“It’s been a stop-start season for me to say the least, but a successful run with my club will make a strong case for me.”
Grejohn Kyei played just three times for Reims the whole of last season.
His improved number of games thus shows clearly the growing confidence in his ability by coaches at the French club.
