The second edition of the RigWorld and EIB invitational golf tournament is slated for September 11 in Takoradi.
According to the organizers, this year’s event will be full of interesting activities ahead of the main event starting from September 9.
The tournament is expected to see over 70 golfers taking part in the 18- hole event in the Oil City.
The CEO of Moet-Hennessy Tsidi Dagadu who is a partner believes this year’s event will propel tourism in the region with EIB involved.
“Promoting tourism in Takoradi is very important because most regions and cities depend on commodities so we therefore need another source of income to promote the Oil City.
“Commodity prices go up and down so with over reliance will see commercial activities going down but with an alternative the city becomes lively”, he told Starr Sports.
