THE 2005 National Best Teacher and Headmistress of Bomaa Senior High School (BOSS) in the Tano North District of Brong Ahafo Region, Doris Nana Marfo, has charged indigenes of Bomaa to help the school address its infrastructural challenges to meet the needs of the teeming students? population.

Ms Marfo made the clarion call when two indigenes of Bomaa, Gideon Ankrah and Michael Sarfo, who are domiciled in Canada, donated 20 desktop computers, four laptops, one 37-inches Hitachi flat screen television set and a projector to the school.

According to Ms Marfo, the school was established some 30 years ago and had made significant contributions to the development of the nation but it is faced with infrastructural challenges.

The Assistant Headmaster of the school, Dosaa Kaawaanuo, said the items would help address the ICT challenge of the school. He expressed the hope that old students of BOSS would emulate the good examples of the two philanthropists.

?To whom much is given, much is expected. BOSS helped make them reach where they are now and it is time they gave back to the school,? he added.

Mr Stephen Nyamekye Ankrah, brother of Gideon Ankrah, who presented the items on behalf of his brother and Michael, asked the school to take good care of the items to the wish of the donors. He observed that students of BOSS could get to higher heights if they take their studies seriously.

The former headmaster of the school, Ohemen Frempong, also admonished the students to use their time wisely to justify the investments being made in their education.
