India would assist the District Assemblies in mobilising money by tracking revenue with an electronic system. He said Ghana should become India’s understudy to become a global Information and Communication Technology (ICT) expert.

Rajinda Bahaght, India’s High Commissioner to Ghana,  said his country is committed to the development of Ghana and would support the Electoral Commission with the provision of indelible ink to be used in the December Presidential and Parliamentary elections.

He further said India has identified areas to support Ghana’s development agenda to improve people’s living standards. These include ICT and agriculture, providing fertiliser and sugar plants. Bahaght said this year India would give 116 scholarships to students in Ghana to pursue Master of Business Administration.
