Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Philemon McCarthy insists the team is not bothered by the administrative problems at the club following the indictment of Managing Director Neil Armstrong Mortagbe.

The club?s board have asked the managing director to step aside over allegations of misconduct.

A three-member committee is to look into these allegations and advice the board on the next line of action.

Armstrong-Mortagbe?s interim axing has cast a gloom over the club?s operations since the decision was made after the board meeting on Monday night.

Goalkeeper Philemon McCarthy is however adamant the decision has no effect on the playing body.

?We are not concerned by what is happening at the club,? he told Metro FM.

?Those are office matters. We are only focused on field work and nothing more.?

Hearts will not be in action until May 20 when the Ghanaian top flight resumes.

The Phobians are desperate to finish in second place in a season which has been fraught with several problems.
