C++ is a programming language. It is used to make software applications that are used to operate computers and other electronic appliances.
C++ is usually learned by teachers or by books. A good book to learn C++ is by learning it from dummies e book.
A good program to learn C++ language is Code Blocks. It can easily be downloaded from internet using any popular search engine. The program is comparatively easy to use and provides a user-friendly interface.
To make a program in C++ you will have to install it. Then use ‘project tab’ to make a project. Use the details as required in the project menu.
Now you have to test the default project. You can test the default project using the (+) tab with the project that you made earlier.
Now you can check it for errors by building it. Either click on build or use (Ctrl+f9) to build the program. Once the program is built and show no errors, then it can be made in to run using (ctrl+f10).
It is time to make your first C++ program:
Do the same as previous. GO to file and select project. Write ?conversions? as the name of the project and hit enter.
You will see a new project just like the previous one. In addition, this time the conversion text will be bolded. Now close previous project by left clicking it and selecting the close option. Now you will have to write a conversion program as written in the book. The program will not take much time and you can see it in the book that is mentioned above.
However, remember two things.
Spaces in C++:
First C++ does not care about the extra spaces, unless they are bugging with the word. For example, ?int Fahrenheit? & ?int fahren heit? are different. In the first one, Fahrenheit is one word, while fahren heit are two different words.
Colons in C++:
Secondly, the semi colons and colons need to be placed as they are provided. One small mistake will not allow the program to run properly.
Comment in C++:
Another thing is that ?//? when used before any command, C++ takes that as a comment. And it doesn?t count that command in its program.
C++ is a language that is made for the programmer intentions. It lets the programmer to ensure what he really wants. Therefore, C++ picks out all those problems that are placed irrelevantly, and that goes for the colons.
