Jonathan appoints five new permanent secretaries

President Goodluck Jonathan has approved the appointment of five new permanent secretaries in the Federal Civil Service, a statement has said.

According to the statement, signed by Tope Ajakaiye, Deputy Director, Press and Public Relations, in the office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, the new permanent secretaries are Alhassan Gana (Niger), Sunday Jegede (Ekiti), Dr James Obiegbu (Imo), Amb Sani Bala (Katsina) and Folashade Yemi-Esan (Kogi),

The Head of Service, Isa Sali, said the appointments of the new permanent secretaries were made following the retirement from service of those from Niger, Ekiti, Imo, Katsina and Kogi.
