Late, Chaamain Spiers & Eric Isaiah Adusah
Justice Marian Affoh, the presiding judge of the case involving the Ghanaian pastor accused of killing his pregnant British wife has ordered the prosecution to complete their investigations into the case by the next adjournment date.
The judge, according to Starr News? court correspondent Wilberforce Asare was visibly angry on Thursday over the prosecution?s apparent attempt to delay the trial.
Eric Isaiah Adusah, leader of the Global Light Revival Ministries Church, Tottenham, is accused of murdering his wife, Charmain Spiers Adusa in a hotel in Koforidua in March.
The body of Charmain, 41, was found by a hotel staff in a bath, where it is believed she had been lying for four days.
Isaiah Adusah was believed to be in the same hotel room with the wife but checked out with the directive that his pregnant wife was not to be disturbed until she was ready to check out.
On the day of the checkout nothing was heard from her prompting the hotel staff to open the hotel room with a spare key only to find the deceased in the bath tub.
The hotel staff suspect the deceased may have died days earlier and insist nobody entered the room after Mr Adusah checked out of the same room with the no-disturbance directive.
Mr Adusah was later arrested and charged with murder.
He has, however, been granted bail.
His lawyers are pushing for the case to be struck out since the police appear unready to continue the case.
