Hearts coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi insists there is still more room for improvement despite their 2-0 win over Ifeanyi Ubah in an international friendly on Sunday.

The Phobians tested their readiness for the start of the new season with the morale boosting win over the Nigerians at the Accra Sports stadium.

New recruit Samudeen scored a classy goal on his debut with Thomas Abbey getting the other.

The win appears to have lifted confidence in the team ahead of the start of the new campaign but coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi takes no personal gratification from the win.

“It’s only a point of progress and nothing more,” he said

“We are improving match after match and that’s excite me.

“We didn’t play against a weak team. The opponent is a strong team and they gave their all.

“These matches are important for us because we’re looking at improving in all department of the game.”
