Kotoko assistant coach Sarfo Castro is in line to be appointed as the new man at Heart of Lions, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.
Lions are without a substantive coach after parting ways with veteran Ken August due to their poor campaign last term.
The Kpando-based side has contacted the former Power FC trainer with a view to appoint him in a full capacity.
?We had a very poor season not only in the league but also in the pre-season tournament because most of our recruited players had little time to adapt to the team but we wouldn?t want that to repeat next season?. A management member told GHANAsoccernet on anonymity.
?We have asked Ken (August) to step aside and so we have started the search for a new coach to take us through the pre-season?.
?The management of the club has tasked a special committee to look out for a coach and they have talked to one or two coaches including Maxwell Konadu?s assistant at Kotoko (Sarfo Castro) but as at now we cannot make any concrete claims?
