The visit is expected to lead to the establishment of a Sister-City relationship between the Kumasi metropolis and the two Chinese cities.

The visit will be reciprocated by the Chinese to pave the way for bilateral cooperation in the areas of technology, education and cultural exchange, it said.

Last November, the Chinese embassy in Ghana held an economic and trade forum in Kumasi, Ghana’s second largest commercial city, aimed at attracting Chinese investors to Kumasi and other parts of the country. Enditem
