Kwaisey Pee and friends
A group of highlife musicians last Saturday, May 25, entertained thousands of people at the Golden Tulip at a concert dubbed, ?Celebrating AU Day with Kwaisey Pee and Friends?.
The venue was packed with music fans as well as people from all walks of life who danced their hearts out to music from Kwaisey Pee and friends.
Highlife music fans who were over-excited and filled with the ?sweetness? of the rhythms of the songs from all the musicians on the bill expressed satisfaction about the performances of all the musicians on the bill.
The concert kicked off with performance from Irene Logan, who performed some of her hit songs which include ?Run Away?, ?Heat It Up?, among others.
It also witnessed historic live performances from stars like the burger highlife legend George Darko, evergreen Pat Thomas, sexy don dada Samini, smooth singer Irene Logan, Kofi B, Nana Kontihene, Kesse among others.
The maiden edition of the ?Kwasi Pee and Friends? concert was aimed at bringing the highlife artistes together on one stage to commemorate the golden jubilee of the African Union (AU).
Their various live performances raised the momentum and kept a large number of music fans on their feet as they did put up their best.
Kwaisey Pee, who was the headline artiste, was very good on stage when he thrilled fans with his stagecraft, hit songs and dancing skills.
He performed creditably to the satisfaction of all music fans present at the event as they brought to bare their several years of experience.
The event was powered by Planet One Multimedia with media support from Ghana?s entertainment powerhouse, Adom 106.3 FM, Joy FM, Asempa FM and Hitz FM.
