Managing editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr. has warned government not to waste state resource in sponsoring any supporting group to Brazil to cheer the Black Stars on during the FIFA World Cup.
According to Kwesi Pratt who was speaking on Adom FM, such monies could be channeled into other areas of development to benefit the whole nation.
He further questioned the benefit that such an initiative by government will bring to the nation. In his estimation, any supporter who wants to watch and cheer the Stars in Brazil, should fund the trip themselves.

Not even one person should go to the World Cup (Brazil 2014) by way of government sponsorship. If anyone wants to watch the games (Black Stars matches) in Brazil, they should fund it themselves,? he said
